Ferrer Cares / Community Impact
At Ferrer, we believe strong communities are built through care, commitment, and action. We invest our time, resources, and team directly into efforts that support people in the communities we serve. While Ferrer supports a range of community efforts, the organizations below reflect established commitments where our involvement is ongoing and our impact is meaningful.
Mission 22
Preventing veteran suicide and supporting families
Mission 22 works to end veteran suicide by providing no-cost recovery, resiliency, and support programs for veterans, spouses, and families. Their work focuses on long-term healing by helping veterans reconnect with their families, communities, and sense of purpose after service.
Ferrer raises funds for Mission 22 through its annual Bourbon & Bag Bingo fundraiser, with proceeds directed toward programs that expand access to mental health support and veteran reintegration resources.
Joshua Center
Providing grief support for children and families
Joshua Center provides counseling and support services for children and families navigating loss. Their programs focus on helping families process grief, build understanding, and find steady footing during difficult transitions.
Ferrer raises funds for the Joshua Center through its annual Bourbon & Bag Bingo event, helping expand access to grief support for families when it is needed most.
Roc Solid Foundation
Building hope for children and families facing childhood cancer
Roc Solid Foundation is a childhood cancer foundation that supports families at multiple points during their cancer journey. Their work includes providing hospital Ready Bags at diagnosis and building backyard play structures during treatment, offering encouragement, stability, and visible community support.
Ferrer team members participate in Roc Solid builds, helping construct backyard play structures that provide lasting play spaces and visible community support for families during treatment.
Servants at Work (SAWs)
Building accessibility and independence for individuals and families
SAWs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving accessibility for individuals with permanent disabilities by building wheelchair ramps for those in need. Founded in Indiana, SAWs focuses on serving low-income households, providing safe access to homes and helping individuals regain independence, dignity, and connection to their communities.
Ferrer team members support SAWs through volunteer ramp builds, working alongside others in the community to construct accessible entryways that make a meaningful, immediate impact. These projects help create safer living environments while restoring freedom and mobility for those who need it most.
Beyond our featured partnerships with Mission 22, Joshua Center, and Roc Solid Foundation, Ferrer supports a range of organizations and initiatives throughout the year that strengthen our local communities. Our team sponsors youth athletic programs and works with Servants At Work (S.A.W.S.) to install accessibility ramps for individuals with mobility changes. Together, these efforts reflect Ferrer’s continued investment in supporting people across the communities we serve.
